About Yodis

Yodis started with a simple idea: your AI should know you.

Most AI starts every conversation essentially from scratch. Yodis was built around a different model: a personal knowledge system that grows with you — your notes, your interests, what you're learning, and how you think.

Your vault belongs to you. Yodis provides the intelligence around it.

Why does Yodis exist?

I've spent much of my career working with highly technical people, and one thing has become increasingly clear to me: even very capable people often struggle to get the full value out of AI.

The potential is extraordinary. But realizing that potential still requires knowing how to build the systems around the model — how to provide the right context, organize knowledge, preserve memory, choose the right tools, and turn a powerful general-purpose model into something that actually understands what you're trying to accomplish.

I don't think that expertise should be a prerequisite.

Yodis grew out of the belief that the benefits of AI shouldn't belong primarily to the technical few who know how to assemble all of those pieces themselves. The technology should do that work for you.

My goal with Yodis is to remove that barrier — to give anyone access to the kind of personalized, context-rich AI system that today often requires significant technical skill to build and maintain.

You shouldn't have to understand how to build an AI system to have one built around you.
